WHAT TO EXPECT
We are a tight-knit traditional community with a unique touch. Our services follow orthodox traditions using an orthodox prayer book and are conducted in Hebrew. What distinguishes us is our inclusive approach - women actively engage in our services, and we do not have a barrier separating genders. Proudly upholding our traditional values, we cater to those in search of a vibrant and hospitable community. Come join us and become a part of our beloved congregation!
Shabbat is a weekly holiday that celebrates creation and offers a break from the rest of the week. Saturday morning Shabbat services at Ahavath Achim begin at 9:20 and include Shacharit, Torah Service and Musaf. Services are conducted in Hebrew and English.
In celebrating the Sabbath as a day apart from the rest of the week we have Kiddush after services to celebrate our "community" and embrace the gift of Shabbos. Kiddush is a wonderful time to gather with fellow congregants to enjoy a light lunch and each other's company.
