The Hebrew word "tzedakah" literally means "righteous behavior", but in the common vernacular it means "charity". Giving charity is a main feature of Judaism. When we pray for the sick we pledge to give charity. When someone dies, we make donations to charity instead of buying flowers. During Yom Kippur confession we say, "through prayer, repentence, and charity we avert the severe decree".

We keep dues to a minimum so that membership is not a financial barrier to joining the shul. Annual dues are just $100 per adult.
The shul has an annual appeal on Yom Kippur. You can fulfill your pledge here.
Donations are often made in memory of a loved one whose yahrzeit is approaching.
The minyan makes blessings over bread and wine after Shabbos morning services. You may sponsor Kiddush in honor of a family member or event.
