I always find it fascinating to read the rules or laws associated with Jewish law. I was always confused about the embalming also, and when I made my final wishes here in Naples, I said we were not to be embalmed, so I received a credit on my bill. Now, that I know I will be traveling long distance back to Pittsburgh to Mt. Lebanon cemetery, they may have to do just what Jacob and Joseph had done. Thank you for enlightening me, and I do enjoy your notes.
I’m glad you enjoy my sidebars and that this one was helpful.
