Hello Mr. Roteman,
I feel exactly as you do when it comes to invocations. We do it here very often before dinners, Association Meetings and recently, for our annual Memorial Service for those of our community who had passed. I am the only Jewish person in this Park and not much is made of that except for your occasional joke or slide remark. I let it slide because I know where some people come from and I don’t want to start something that would have no good ending. Anyway, I am always asked to read the 23rd Psalm because I am from the Old Testament. I was going to read it in Hebrew but decided to go along with the ALL Christian group and keep my mouth shut, but if this occurs again next year, it will be in Hebrew!!! Good article!!
Shabbat Shalom my friend,
Paul Lederstein
