Hello Mr. Roteman,
Xmas Xmas Xmas. I remember it well as a kid growing up in McDonald where my family and the Harris family were the only two Jewish families in the whole town. I enjoyed the holiday because we were off from school for a week or so and could go sled riding and snow ball throwing and etc. Besides that, I got plenty of gifts from my neighbors. I liked the holiday because it seemed like everybody was more friendly and enemies were kind to each other for at least the day. Other than that, it was just another day. Chanukah was always respected by my friends and that was always good!! Another good article and remembering the “old” days!! Take care Mr. Roteman!
Shalom,
Paul Lederstein
