Carnegie Shul Chatter – March 28, 2014

Candle Lighting time is 7:21

Please allow me a moment of self indulgence today.  On Wednesday, March 26, my father-in-law, Hyman Ginsberg, passed away and his funeral is today.  I can’t begin to put into words my grief over losing this wonderful man.  The death of a loved one is a trying time for all of us, but death is an inevitable part of life and we somehow work our way through the pain and sorrow with the comfort of our friends and family, and, most importantly to me, with a faith in the God who gives us life in this world and who calls us home to his service.  May our father in heaven guard the soul of my beloved father-in-law and may he find eternal happiness with Hashem.
